Seeing in 2013 at Shoreditch House

New Year’s Eve was spent at Shoreditch House in London with my group of friends tucking into, amongst other things, a superb example of how roast rib of beef should be done.

My nasturtium babies have been tentatively easing themselves out of their beds and enjoying the recent rain… and are looking forward to joining me and my salads this summer.

I’m a couple of years late off the mark on this one. It has been one of those things I’ve been meaning to do for a while and some how never got around to doing. But finally, I’ve bought myself a tube of the umami wonder paste – Taste #5 Umami by Laura Santtini. I’m looking forward to cracking it open and experimenting very soon.
